Chef Ryan McCaskey is bringing a level of expertise and creativity to our beloved establishment. Chef McCaskey’s accolades and accomplishments are numerous. He has been recognized by the prestigious James Beard Foundation, earning a semi-finalist nomination for Best Chef: Great Lakes seven times, at his previous restaurant, Acadia. He has also received two Michelin stars during his tenure, as well as Five Diamonds from AAA. His commitment to quality and innovation has earned him critical acclaim and a dedicated following from food enthusiasts. As the new chef of Pilgrim’s Inn, Chef McCaskey is eager to craft a dining experience that celebrates the flavors of the Blue Hill Peninsula and Deer Isle, embracing the bounty of local produce and seafood.
