Head Chef

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the culinary program at Pilgrim’s Inn for the 2025 season and beyond. The ideal candidate will share our dedication to community, sustainability, and creativity, crafting humble and delicious cuisine that celebrates the region’s bounty. Our focus will be on ingredient-driven dishes that may have roots in the past but are inventive and approachable—the kind of food that nourishes and draws guests back multiple times a week.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the culinary identity of a longstanding establishment as we set the tone for the next chapter of this beloved property. You’ll have the chance to develop meaningful relationships with local farms and producers, support our sustainability efforts, and enrich the island community while delivering exceptional dining experiences that draw guests from near and far.


Front of House Manager

Role Summary

The Restaurant Front of House Manager is responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations of our on-site dining room and tavern, as well as executing events such as weddings, retreats, and private gatherings. This role combines a passion for exceptional service, creative problem solving, and strong organizational skills to ensure memorable dining and event experiences for our guests. The Restaurant Front of House Manager works closely with the Innkeeper, House Manager, Head Chef and other team members to maintain a high quality bar and uphold Pilgrim’s Inn’s reputation for warm, personalized service.


Restaurant & Inn Host

Role Summary

The Host at Pilgrim’s Inn is a hybrid role that combines hosting at the restaurant with front desk duties at the inn. You’ll be greeting guests, managing reservations, and tackling daily opportunities to make sure each visitor has a fantastic experience. If you’ve worked at a hotel front desk or as a host in a fine dining restaurant, this role could be a great fit for you. At its core, it is about making people feel welcome, being organized, and communicating well with both guests and your teammates.


Server

Role Summary

At Pilgrim’s Inn, our front-of-house team is cross-trained in all roles—server, server’s assistant, and host—and team members rotate positions. Hosts and servers welcome guests from the moment they arrive, serve with care and knowledge, and support the smooth flow of daily operations. As a server, you help shape the guest experience and play a key role in creating memorable moments at the Inn. 

Our servers are friendly, professional, and curious team players who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. We value individuality—each team member brings their own personality to the role, adding warmth and authenticity to every guest interaction. Together, they are masters of the dining experience, striking a thoughtful balance between warm attentiveness and respectful discretion.
