The Periwinkle has graced Deer Isle with its presence for over 50 years, offering everything from hand-made specialty foods and soaps, to classic children’s books by famous local author Robert McCloskey. The Dry Dock
Located on Main Street in Stonington, The Dry Dock is also open on selected days this holiday season and is one of our favorite places. For over 30 years this shop has served the Deer Isle-Stonington community. It features beautiful and artistic jewelry, creative clothing, unique housewares, toys, cards and gifts. You’ll find the perfect gift for everyone on your list at this Island gem.
Nervous Nellies Jam’s & Jellies
You can’t go wrong with a gift from Nervous Nellies Jam’s and Jellies. One of the best things about a gift from Nervous Nellies (besides the delicious jams) is that they will wrap and ship your gift for you! You can choose from small and large cases of jams, or put together the perfect breakfast with scone mix and jams. You can also pack up a gift of Maine maple syrup from Smith Brothers Maple, the same folks who supply the delicious syrup at Pilgrim’s Inn! The store will be open everyday until Christmas!
