What to Do on the Schoodic Peninsula

The Schoodic Scenic Byway is a 29-mile-long road that winds through the region and into the adjoining section of Acadia National Park. Beautiful falls, ocean and mountain views, working lobster boats, and distant lighthouses are all sights you will see along the byway. If you peer far enough, you will even see other islands in the distance off the coast of Maine. The byway travels through the small villages of Sullivan, Gouldsboro, Birch Harbor, Winter Harbor, and Prospect Harbor.
