44 North Coffee
Deer Isle, Maine
Just around the corner from Pilgrim’s Inn, 44 North is one of our favorite Maine coffee roasters! Enjoy a variety of responsibly sourced, artisan-roasted blends from around the globe. Some unique, delicious flavors arrive in 100% Arabica coffee beans, which are custom-roasted upstairs in the historic Deer Isle Schoolhouse. In an effort to give back to the local community, these seasonal, organic beans are used to support farms like Four Season Farm throughout the year. Visit the cafe and roastery Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Here at Pilgrim’s Inn, we serve the backdraft roast of Carrabassett Coffee. This signature dark roast provides a great kick-start to your vacation in Maine. Enjoy as the enticing flavors rise with swirls of steam when we pour you a mug at morning breakfast. To further immerse yourself in the local coffee culture, take a visit to Carrabassett Coffee, located just down the road from the Sugarloaf ski resort. The store offers a wide variety of single-source coffees from Africa, Central and South America, and Indonesia. Using only the highest grade coffee beans to develop custom blends, Carrabassett features decafs and organics in a wide range of delicious flavors. We hope you enjoy our favorite coffee locations during your stay at the Pilgrim’s Inn!

Unrest Roasting Co.
Blue Hill, Maine
At Unrest Roasting Co., you will discover some truly local flavors! The Blue Hill Blend is a medium roast ground with Chaga that’s sourced from Blue Hill, Maine, making it the ultimate local favorite. The Chaga is hand-ground and turned into the delicious blend in your mug! If you enjoy a more intense flavor, the smoky, dark roast Allagash blend is another great option, fire roasted with maple wood from the Clayton Lake region of Maine.
